Thank You for Filling Empty Bowls

This year was the 23rd annual Empty Bowls event, and although it has changed a lot over the years, the outpouring of community support has never changed.  Feed My People's largest annual fundraiser was once again a successful event thanks to the generosity of the community.

Around 1,000 people came out to the food bank on May 18, and together with our sponsors, around $100,000 was raised. This will go so far in ensuring families experiencing food insecurity throughout west central Wisconsin have access to groceries. 

Empty Bowls was newly revamped this year and was held onsite at the food bank as both an indoor and outdoor fundraiser. There were food trucks, an online and in-person silent auction, tours, and of course the chance to pick out a bowl from hundreds of ceramic and wooden creations donated by local artists and students. 

Feed My People is grateful for the numerous monetary and in-kind sponsors, including its top sponsors, BMO and Markety & Johnson. Additionally, the event was made possible thanks to dozens of volunteers, bowl and silent auction donors, food trucks, media partners, and FMP staff.
