Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Feed My People is in need of lots of volunteers for Stamp Out Hunger and Empty Bowls. Your gift of time is so appreciated and goes a long way in making these important events possible. Sign up today online as an individual or with a group.

Stamp Out Hunger, the National Association of Letter Carriers' food drive event, is on Saturday, May 13. Carriers will collect food donations from local communities and then come to the food bank for sorting and distribution to our local partners.

• Food Sorting (Saturday, May 13, 3-7 pm) Register for a shift.
  • After unloading and weighing donations from our trucks, volunteers will sort the food into one of 8 labeled totes. 

• Boxing and Packing Donations (May 15 and 16, 9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm) Register for a shift.
  • Volunteers will pack food donations from totes into banana boxes to create assorted boxes of food for our local hunger relief partners.

Empty Bowls, Feed My People's largest annual fundraiser has slots available for up to 250 volunteers! This all-day fundraiser festival promises to be a day of fun as we come together as a community to address hunger in west central Wisconsin. Full event details are here.

Volunteer opportunities range from parking to ticketing. Most shifts are two hours and are available between 8 am-8 pm on Thursday, May 18. There are opportunities for both indoor and outdoor positions.
